The Work of the Holy Spirit Pt. 4

When we look at the 'gifts of the Spirit' in Corinthians chapter 12 we need to acquaint ourselves with the Gift-giver, the Holy Spirit of God.  Once we understand WHO this person is, with HIS will, and feelings and thoughts and actions, then we begin to recognize HIM at work in us.

The sinner, saved by grace, (only through the redemptive work of God, through the life of Jesus Christ and HIS death on the cross) has fellowship with the Holy Spirit, who is God.  God the Holy Spirit works in us through faith in Christ.

The Holy Spirit, Gift-giver (Part 1)

Completely scriptural instruction on the Person of the Holy Spirit. 

The normal-ness of the church, empowered in every aspect of service and every activity through the gifts that He gives.  The person, not the phenomenon of people responding to Him in wild ways.

The person:
referred to with masculine pronouns
who thinks, feels, has a will, and
who is separate from God the Father or Christ the Son
who is the presence of God when we worship
