Exodus 4 Zipporah and Circumcision
Tuesday Mar 18, 2014
Tuesday Mar 18, 2014
Outside of faith,
the act of circumcision is merely a violent act of genital mutilation.
Moses did not circumcise his children in Midian.
Moses answered God's call to serve Him and go to Egypt.

while he was on the way, (to do God's will, in God's strength!)
until his wife Zipporah circumcised the boys.

Whether it is Pharaoh, or a neighbour, or a family member who doesnt believe/live as we do, God helps people to be ready for the invitation to follow him. And we need to be loving and patient as God calls people from every walk of life to know Him and become persuaded about how to walk through life. God is loving and gentle and patient with you. Are you accepting of other people 'in-process'? If people are 'born that way' are you accepting of the fact that God is working patiently with each of us, who are still learning what God thinks about us and what He wants us to know about Him?
