We bow before the merciful God, who requires buffers in society to let the land rest, to provide for poor people.
God cares so much that we follow His instructions, that He establishes immutable consequences tied to these ideas.

God brings-up repeatedly, the things that matter a great deal.
Jesus makes clear the significance of the Sabbath.
The wider counsel of the Word of God makes a more clear picture of what God thinks about a matter.

Moses refers to the priority of three feasts:
Passover
Feast of Harvest (Feast of Weeks or First Fruits)
Ingathering (Feast of Booths)

Leaven (yeast), fat, first of the harvest, meet and dairy...where do all these rules come from?
And what do they signify to us today in an age of grace?
