The word for saints is "hagiois" literally 'holy ones'.
We are called to be Holy.
There are two ideas in the background here:
1. Justification and 2. Sanctification

God calls us to be holy ones and he doesn’t leave us to fail at that. He makes us holy, and he structures our lives to show it.
